Accrorap (France)
Accrorap was founded in 1989 in Saint-Priest - near Lyon. Kader Attou, choreographer and now director of Center Choréographique National of La Rochelle, was one of the founders. From the wild collection of artists who were Accrorap at the beginning, the group grew into the unique choreographic collective that it is now. Kader Attou enriched and refined the hip hop of Accrorap by mixing it with circus, contemporary dance and visual art. Accrorap has been shown worldwide on international stages for years.
