Krisztina de Châtel / Stephen Shropshire (Netherlands)
Krisztina de Châtel made performances with horses, firemen and garbage men, but is best known for her minimalistic dance full of mathematical patterns. With about 70 choreographies and two dance films to her name, she can rightfully be called the grande dame of minimalist dance.
The second piece is by Stephen Shropshire, who for years led Noord Nederlandse Dans and is known for his athletic, powerful choreographies.
