For this performance of The Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company, Godani put together a mixed bill of three pieces, which together show the versatility of the company. Echoes from a restless soul to music by Maurice Ravel, High Breed to the electronic sounds of 48Nord and Al di Là, which places the work of Arnold Schönberg in a whole new context. Al di Là
In Al di Là, Jocapo Godani creates a mythical world, populated by beings who seem to have undergone endless metamorphoses. Living beings with human characteristics on their way to something new. Something that is not yet there. In this way Godani gives a completely new context to the composition Illuminated Night by Arnold Schönberg, the symphonic poem for string quartet that the composer created in 1899.

Echoes from a Restless Soul
The choreography consists of pas de deux s and quartets in endless variations. Danced to the music of Ravel. Striking is the frequent use of pointed, not so common in modern dance, but one of Godani's trademarks. Ravel’s piano concerto is performed live by Svjatoslav Korolev.

High Breed
Godani's ideas are visible in High Breed. To go beyond his limits for High Breed, he had to free himself from restrictive choreographic guidelines. And so purely abstract images arise. Glimpses of figures moving in shadow, appearing and disappearing silhouettes. High Breed is a creation in which light and dark play a fundamental role. With a physical intensity that is rich in action and precision. In High Breed, Godani reveals the identity of his company.
