Australian Dance Theatre (Australia) - The Beginning of Nature
This performance is a spectacular musical dance performance based on rhythms from nature. Humans - in all living forms - exist through a phenomenally complex symphony of overlapping rhythms that form the material of nature and of life itself. These rhythms are manifested in day and night, the seasons, tidal patterns, migration, hibernation, sleep and wake, weather patterns, the binary of growth and decay and the different systems of the body. The music is composed by Brendan Woithe, who has created the music for many ADT's internationally famous tours. The music is performed live by Zephyr Quartet.
