Batsheva Dance Company (Israel)
The Batsheva Dance Company is a world famous company from Israel that travels all over the world with modern dance pieces created by their choreographer Ohad Naharin.
When they, shortly after Pim Fortuyn was killed, did a Dutch tour with DecaDance, the security measures were a different world from what we were used to. Later tours were much more relaxed. But security always remains an issue.
The lighting designs are always demanding, and compromise isn't an easy word.
