Jamie Adkins (Canada)
Whoever sees virtuoso Jamie Adkins struggle with the world around him, must love that adorable youngster. Everything the timid Adkins touches, does something different than he wants. The microphone, to begin with. Talking to the audience wont happen, all kinds of idiotic attempts notwithstanding. Adkins uses simple and less simple things somewhat cumbersomely (juggling with and inside the mouth, for example) and sometimes he simply asks for trouble. For example, when he invites the audience to throw all sorts of things at him. He even supplies the ammunition for this self-flagellation.
