Tabea Martin (Switzerland)
The Swiss dance maker Tabea Martin worked at dance companies in the Netherlands, Ireland, Germany and Switzerland and was invited by various festivals, including the prestigious Theatertreffen in Berlin. In 2011 she received the Wim Barry Stipendia Prize from the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds as 'promising theater talent'.
In her work Martin studies people and their behavior in different circumstances. She focuses on the attempt: the getting lost, the unknowing, the discomfort and the sadness that lurks in a body.
