WArd/waRD (Belgium) - Blueprint on Memory
Blueprint on Memory is the first production from The Memory Loss Collection, a large project in which she draws attention to how the brain works and the effect of memory loss. In this production, Van den Broek develops further her characteristic use of live music and the camera. The blueprint of the title is literally visible on the floor and the performers move along wires, cables, peddles and triggers. The complex chaos tests the mental and physical memory of performers but also offers something they can get hold off whilst moving.
