Dancing Grandmothers is an absolute feelgood show. The Korean grandmothers stole the hearts of the world.
Choreographer Eun-Me Ahn, 'The Pina Bausch of Seoul', shows how Korean women look at dance and age. Ahn travelled through her home country Korea and discovered that all the women she met were happy when she asked them to dance. The energy of even the eldest among them inspired the young dancers of her Eun-Me Ahn Company and the rest is history. Dancing Grandmothers combines flowerpower, folklore and electro and is danced by young and old.
