Dada Masilo (South Africa) - Giselle
Dada Masilo takes the romantic tragedy 'Giselle' out of her classical setting and places her in the South African countryside and addresses themes such as sexuality and women's rights. She calls it not so much a beautiful ballet, but a nice introduction to African rituals and ceremonies.
