In The Valley the two performers are identical; they appear as same-egg twins, dressed in matching white jogging pants and grey tops. And this is for good reason: this is a place for doppelgangers, where two can come together and replicate again. When you can no longer see where one begins and the other ends, you lose track of the distinction between the original and the replica. Who is pulling the strings? What is natural and what is artificial? It is an undefinable place, a valley where the difference between man and machine has vanished.
