Hofesh Schechter Company (Israel) - Political Mother
The publicity text says: "Ten dancers of the Hofesh Shechter Company present an ever more surreal chain of encounters, leading to a series of shocking, amusing and touching events, which challenge our notion of what is ‘normal’.
Political Mother is accompanied by a cinematic score composed by Shechter himself and performed by a band of live musicians."
The theatre in Breda presented the show in 2010. In the fall of 2011 they visit Amsterdam and Den Bosch.
Marijcke saw the show in Amsterdam and loved it: raw and rough but complete. The Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant gave Political Mother five stars!
