Marcos Morau (Spain) - Portland
In Portland the Spanish choreographers Marcos Morau (Valencia, 1982) and Lali Ayguade (Barcelona, 1980) investigate the power of reflection. Does reflection force the spectator to a reaction? How are we going to deal with what is happening around us? Can we as spectators flee our responsibility for what we see? Should reflection in the dance ignore what the artists should confront the public with, or does the dancer touch the audience just by sharing her reflection?
