Shailesh Bahoran (Netherlands) - R*E*D*O
When Redouan Ait Chitt was born he was already losing 6 – nil. His body had strange abnormalities which couldn’t be explained medically, but Redouan doesn’t believe in limitations or excuses. He believes in himself and is becoming an internationally famous breakdancer and motivational speaker. Shailesh Bahoran made a production about this phenomenon in the dance world; a production about setbacks, willpower, individuality and motivation. The audience will enjoy a foretaste of R*E*D*O at the Dutch Dance Festival Gala and the whole production will be interpreted in Kumulus by the only person in the world who can do that, Redoan himself. Surrounded by a living scenery of choir singers, he will retell his story in dance.
