Manuel Liñán / José Maldonado (Spain) - Reversible (flamenco)

Dancer/choreographer Manuel Liñán is making his Dutch debut at the festival in the Rotterdamse Schouwburg, in his latest production Reversible. Dancing in a ‘bata de cola’ [traditional dress with a long train], he performs with talented dancer José Maldonado, investigating the field of tension between traditional and contemporary flamenco in a series of light-hearted dances that revolve around Nietzsche’s quote ‘Man's maturity: to have regained the seriousness that he had as a child at play’.
