In TITANS, Euripides Laskaridis creates an alien atmosphere, with creatures of pre-reason's time. Because yes, before the clever Olympic gods of Laskaridis' homeland there were other rulers ruling the world: the Titans, perhaps the earliest creatures ever imagined by human fantasy. Laskaridis is inspired by these barbaric Titans - they castrated their father, drowned their children, and so on - to show what the world could have looked like. How does this flat, hollow reality stand out with our urge for self-development? Are we actually that far away from it?
