Mithkal Alzghair (Syrian Arab Republic) - Transaction
Suspended in harnesses from the ceiling, four performers create fragile and emotional states of active and passive bodies, to a live soundtrack created solely from the performers’ voices.
How can we continue to produce images today, to show to the world what might be going on? Alzghair is opening a choreographic space to find the convergence between two parallel lines: reality and art. He aspires to create images that whisper, making audible the cries of fear hidden within them. Bodies and objects, scattered in space as if a bomb has exploded. This is post-disaster. This is the starting point.
