True (Dumbtype / Japan Foundation) (Japan) - True
True is the result of a collaboration between various organizations in Japan, so there is no company name. Kinsei, the technical director, also works for Dumb Type.
True is a multimedia production that requires much precision. As part of the stage two large scaffolds were needed, exactly the same, with no dust or rental stickers. We rented them for the tour and hired an experienced Layher builder for building and breaking it, since working with Layher is not the daily work of many technicians, and we're looking at a working height of 4.5m.
TOT invited some friends for the show in Amsterdam. Kinsei afterwards told us all we wanted to know about the technology. And frankly, we found that even more interesting than the show itself.
