The School for New Dance Development (SNDO) is a four-year course that leads to the diploma "Bachelor Dance and Choreography". The school trains to become a choreographer / dance maker and on this training dance is seen as making artistic statements with the body in time and space. The SNDO was founded in 1975 and then mainly served to invent new dance forms, in addition to existing and dominant dance forms such as classical ballet. SNDO is still looking for this and the word "new" in the name of the program is cherished.
