Via Katlehong Dance (South Africa)
The South African company Via Katlehong Dance, founded in 1992, is from a township near Johannesburg. The first aim was to offer young people an alternative to life as a criminal. Meanwhile they tour the world with professional dance shows, with or without live music.
With Nkululeko, created 10 years after the official end of apartheid, they came to The Netherlands and Belgium several times since 2005. Imbizo e Mazweni was part of Julidans 2008.
In 2010 Woza toured The Netherlands.
