Santiago Lara Quartet (Spain) - A Tribute to Path Metheny
The young guitarist from Jerez de la Frontera chose ten of Metheny's compositions and translated them into a flamenco idiom. Famous themes like 'Minuano' or 'James' sound refreshingly new in its swinging flamenco interpretations. Metheny himself, on request, knew the project to be great and to be honored with these "incredible interpretations".
