Lecavalier is coming to Julidans 2012 with the new diptych Children / A Few Minutes of Lock.
Children is a new work by the British choreographer (and co-founder of DV8) for Lecavalier and Nigel Charnock Lamothe. A bittersweet, sweaty duet about two lovers who are on the edge of breaking up, with beautiful music by Leonard Cohen and Billie Holiday.
A Few Minutes of Lock is a trip down memory lane. Lecavalier dances with Keir Knight and Patrick Lamothe fragments of pieces by choreographer Édouard Lock from her La La La Human Steps period, with music by Iggy Pop.
