Rocío Márquez, Kian Soltani, Efrén López , Leonor Leal, Derya Türkan, Ella van Poucke (Netherlands) - Fantasía para Violonchelo y Flamenco
The young flamenco singer Rocío Márquez, who will be Artist in Residence at the coming festival, is renowned for her lively interpretation of the classical repertoire. However, she also strays from the beaten flamenco paths with equal enjoyment and a good nose for innovation. The Dutch cellist Ella van Poucke and Iranian-Austrian Kian Soltani are likewise big rising stars. Dancer Leonor Leal improvises beautiful dance scenes to illustrate the music, filled with exciting rhythms and surprising accents.
