A duet with video, and a piece for four performers and a singer. A great opportunity to see two pieces of young choreographers in a program during July 2011 in the dance theater of De Melkweg.
In the duet of Roser Lopez Espinosa Miniature she plays with the depth-of-field of the video. A camera is on the floor and focuses first on a hand right in front of it, then shifts to a dancer 8 meters away. Or the focus is on both, yielding some surprising effects. The images are cast on the cyclorama, or on the bodies of the dancers.
