Max / Reza Servati (Iran (Islamic Republic of))
Max Theatre Group was founded in Tehran in 2003 by Reza Servati. The group has been pushing to avoid classic foundations and achieve a fresh view of theater. In the unjust competition between theater and cinema, which almost always results in dominancy of the later in the domain realism, Max Theatre Group intends to build a new, unique and strange experience of theater for the audience. They try to isolate the audience from their habitual reactions, stimulate their five senses and stop them from drowning in their sensationalism and referral to predefined clichés.
